Learn More About Our Talented Heating and Cooling Team

Established in 1939 by James Franklin Pugh, Pugh Heating & Air Conditioning started when James took a job at the Baker Furnace Company. James took an electrical engineering course at the University of Toledo and built the first spot welder for the Baker Company. Following his father's footsteps in the 1960s, George Pugh learned the HVAC industry from the ground up. George served as the president for 23 years before passing the torch to Mark Nowak in 1994.

James, George, and Mark all had one thing in common - an unwavering commitment to customer service, superior craftsmanship, education, quality suppliers, and superb employees. Pugh Heating & Air Conditioning is proud to say that it is one of the few businesses left from that era - in fact, less than 1% of businesses started in 1939 are still in business today!
